Women Alert Team

Women Alert Team was established on 1 October 2011 to make widows, abandoned, poor and illiterate women residing in rural and urban areas self-reliant by imparting them vocational training. So far, 1,100 women have benefited from the activity.

A few women associated with the activity are in the government service, while several are serving with the private sector. The organisation has linked women with higher education through distant education programme.

A special team has been formed to ensure safety of women. A few women are also given financial assistance.
